I was set bulleye at 200 metres, to hit high i had to move up a tad under 8 MOA and the wind was light and at 90 degrees had to go .25 MOA to my right to be center... JP.
Wow that doesn,t seem like a lot I ran the numbers and it shows more.
You said you were at about 2600 fps with a 208 gr .620 G1 bc the come up for that combo should be right around 10.5 moa.
I also shoot f- class and use Jbm a lot and the numbers are always very close never 2 1/2 moa off at 500 .
Your bullet would have to travel just under 3000 fps to support a little under 8 minutes.
Weren't you banned not long ago?
Nope..
63 click back to zero, just counted them back, for me 64 clicks are 8 MOA + 15 clicks to put it bulleye @ 200M, could the fact that my scope is 2.5 inch from the middle of the bore change the number, i heard about that calculator but never got to it... JP.
So how many minutes did you have to come up from 100.
Well I just calculated it with a 2 1/2" height and it would be 10.3 moa a bit less.
What is the + 15 clicks were did that come from didn't you say you needed to come up a little less than 8 minutes from 200 to 500.
Not sure how to multi quote to help explain this better.
Coyote your calculations were coming up from 100m, caramels were from coming up from 200m. The extra 15 clicks caramel is talking about is comng up from 100m to 200 m, then up another 63-64 clicks or 8 moa to 500 m. Your 10.3 moa from 100 is correct as is his 8 moa from 200.
He is up a total of 78-79 clicks from 100m which is a bit less than 10.3 moa. And is closer to 10 moa.
No according to jbm the come up is 10.3 from 200m to 500m.

Are you playing a WI video game or shooting, you know the real shooting with the real rifle, with the real rounds on the real range... JP.![]()
Then Center of scope to center of bore distance is what causing your calculations to not coincide with what is actually happening with caramels findings, jp picked up on that all ready
Not believing what i am IS your problem, my shooting is serious business, you know did not give you 2 differents answers if you look back at the posts, now i need no excuses, what i show is what i do, i a am old school shooter, what happen if i made a mistake counting my clicks now i have to recall is my last zero at 200 or 300 metres, you cant go on telling to somebody work is wrong because of #... JP.You know I am a real shooter and have been at it for a long time .
My eight year old plays with a wii I don't.
Caramel to be honest some of your threads are questionable you post pics of groups only you know how far away they have been shot.
I ask you a simple question on elevation and you give me 2 answers in 2 different posts I don't know.
You do have a nice rifle caramel and I am sure it shoots nice but to be honest I have a hard time beleiving you sometimes.
Me and my friend were at the range shooting at 300m last weekend with my 308 and his 260 both custom target rifles both our guns will shoot 1/4" groups at 100 often enough.
That day with no flags and some wind nothing to strong we shot groups similar to what you say you shot at 500.

Marine Scout Snipers tested this weapon at the High Altitude Shooting Course in Hawthorne, NV and were able to hold 3 inch groups at 600 yards and 6.5 inch groups at 905 yards.
Source: DefenseReview.com (http://s.tt/13fjw) I am in contact with David Ives ceo of Nemesis Arms and those groups were shoot with 168 gr GM Federal commercial ammo so with a tailored handload 1.3 to 2 inchs at 540 yards is very in the range... JP.
