New 2,000 Meter Range In Grande Prairie Alberta - Show Interest?

The only thing I’m concerned about with it not going ahead is that there are supposedly two houses that are with in 300ish meters of the range.

Have you driven to the actual location? I’m curious if it’s hearsay, or the truth. I haven’t been able to go scope out the site of the proposed build.

If there are those houses then they could have the potential to get it crushed when the land gets allocated to the county.

Don’t know. I have asked to be on the match directors committee, but will wait and see what happens. First things first. Need to get a membership.

Something I should point out again, I’m not on the board for this project. So I surely don’t know all or even allot of the future plans/thoughts/details of this project. So don’t want to lead anyone astray.

Check out ShotMarker. They say: "The Sensor Hub battery lasts 100 hours, and the Access Point battery lasts 18 hours". All rechargeable.

They say its designed for F-class, but I could not find on their website a statement for the maximum range for the transmitter. F-class is max 1000m. Maybe give them a call at ShotMarker to see if can work for 2,000m?

I know nothing about this technology, having not used it. But I see YT videos of it being used for F-class training. Reason I am interested is that if this 2000m range is a go, I might travel out on vacation for the opportunity to shoot 2000m, which is way way impossible where I live. It would be awesome.
