Just a thought, the Ruger M77/22.
I have had mine for years, accurate fun rifle to own and shoot.
So I bought the tikka what a beautiful rifle cost me 768.00 with taxes picked it up at bass pro in Vaughn they had 5 well now 4 surprised I did notice it the other day now need to find scope base for it any ideas don’t really care for the 11mm groves scope rings
Congrats on the new Tikka!
If you prefer blue steel and walnut, there's this option.. T3 Hunter stock, which requires very minor inletting.

I need the comb riser to get my eye in the right place, which is unfortunate. It's a lovely piece of wood.
I recently sold the scope that was on this rifle, so I'm not shooting it until the scope gets replaced or this is sold. That might be a spring decision..
If you go with rings only, I can recommend the Warne 721 or 722 rimfire rings from Bass Pro. Solid steel, switchable from 3/8 to 11mm.
There's a trick to getting them on and off the scope without scratching the finish on the scope though.
It's a T3 Hunter stock, from a fine gentleman in Saskatchewan who had no use for it.
To use it with a T1x barreled action, you need to drill a small hole directly behind the rear action screw (covered by the bottom plastic), and remove a small amount of wood on either side of the mag well.
That's it. Everything else is plug and play, the barrel is completely free floating.
Neither modification prevents it from being used again for a T3.
I got lucky, it has a bit of figure in the wood, which isn't common with Tikka.

Casey and Peter at Tactical Ordnance make a 30 MOA rail specifically for the Tikka T1X, I have one on mine and it fits perfectly.
