New Abomination From Mossberg

sierra6point5: There is video of a 3 gun match where the shotgun portion starts with a breech.

That said i think if i ever bought this ugly POS i might have to turn it on myself as restitution to the laws of good sense and good taste.

As the person I know who eats , lives, and likely sleeps with a tricked out 12ga..this must be killing you. What happens when the recoil activates the chain brake. Must have to reset alot before the next round...LOL ...this thing is an embarrassing joke. How much would it cost for us to get a picture holding on to one of these ???

You know the more I think about your comment the more mad I get. So you are suggesting that just because someone wants a breaching muzzle device they are suddenly going to go to someones house and quote"blowing peoples door locks off"?

If you see no need for it fine, but stop trying to scare people into having the same opinion as you. That is an anti tactic. My shotgun is already capable of "blowing peoples door locks off" and it has yet to cause me to go crazy and commit a rash of crimes.

I cringe at the number of times we hear about the strange things done by people that legally own firearms.

And just to stay on track and not be accused of hijacking a thread, I disliked Mossberg before I sawe this contraption. I hate them even more now.

If that really makes you mad, you need therapy...fact is that device is as useful as a flashlight on sunny day. If it makes you mad that I pointed that out, well that's just how it is then.
 
You never said that it was useless. You insinuated that it was illegal and would cause people to commit crimes with it.

I am not mad at you specifically, just with the amount of people passing things off as illegal lately.

The fact is that this device is not useful to you so you are trying to make other people not want it or use it as well.

Look, it's a direct knock off of a device actually used by law enforcement. They are allowed to bust somebody's door down if need be. We are not, unless it happens to be our own, but that would be silly and costly. I don't care if anybody buys a shotgun with a door breeching muzzle attachment, it's just a completely and utterly useless gimmick. Like putting a weedeater handle on a firearm. That is all I was getting at.
 
It is a shame that O.F mossberg has continued to put this type of silly stuff on the shelves. I loved my mossberg 500...It was my first shotgun and worked very well for me. Mossberg has done itself and the reputation of the reall 500 series of shotguns with this crap that they insist on trying to market

Kind of like the M203 cutout on the barrel of an AR? Or the somewhat popular fake suppressors? Or the popular bayonet lug (what, are you going to charge the paper target when you run out of ammo)? It's all in good fun.

Now, a chainsaw handle on a shotgun I'm not as sure about.
 
I think mall ninjas have taken over the R&D dept of Mossberg. I honesty thought this was a joke.

I never liked the safety switch on Mossy's, they tend to break or wear out over time. This is one more reason not to buy one. What the hell are they thinking?
 
Looks like mossberg left the back door open and crack heads got in and put a handle on the really big pipe. That thing is sad, mossberg 500"s are a great shotty and they do this to the brand.
