i need it for a 308 remington 700 AAC-SD factory threaded to 5/8-24.. will this fit it? i think when you said vz you meant for the 7.62x39?

if so, i know you sell them direct but are we going through one shot for this? and i want to be on pre order if possible however the 2 of you decide to sell them.

Yes. The 5/8-24 version will fit anything threaded to that spec (ie. Rem 700 AAC and .308 AR variants). They will be reamed for .30Cal so .308, .300BLK etc.

We don't sell direct, so they will be available through OST and any new dealers we have by the time they are released. I would expect late Feb before we get to them.

Darren has a few gas blocks in stock, or at least he did the other day.

We just found out our next gas block production is delayed a couple of
weeks due to material availability, so we will be looking at early
March for the next run of linear brakes. Darren still has lots of
stock on the AR and VZ versions though.
 
The VZ is threaded 14x1.0 right hand thread? Because I've got a barrel threaded 14x1.0-Left hand that I might be thinking of a brake like this for.

A month isn't too bad to wait! Can't wait to get one and hopefully by then they have the Rainier/Samson Evolution handguards in!

We are looking into do a left hand thread. We have had a couple of requests from the US for a version that will fit on the AK. We have to be able to justify the tooling, so if we see a possibility of at least 10 sales at production time we will do a short run of them.

OK, I will commit to purchasing one of these (provided the price doesn't change more than a few percent). Preferably set-up for a .22 cal; but if it's set-up for .30, I'll still take it.
