Traitors???Great gun I’m sure.
Only problem is it’s made by the traitors CZ
Well, it isnt a 22short. That power has to go somewhere!A muzzle brake on a 22 LR ?![]()
I think CZ bought Colt, or vice versa.Traitors???
Helps you see your impact and your bullet in flightA muzzle brake on a 22 LR ?, does it come with a purse too ?

I put a CZ compensator on my 455 Varmint barreled rifle. I did it because I thought it would look more finished (which it does); what I did not expect was the noise reduction. My buddy and I often go to the range together, his rig is a 457 with the same barrel but no compensator. We often use the same ammo (usually TAC 22), everyone asks why my rifle is so much quieter.A muzzle brake on a 22 LR ?, does it come with a purse too ?

I don't think it has much effect. I shot my frineds rifle, without one, and it is easy to see the bullet in flight with his and mine.Helps you see your impact and your bullet in flight
That straight comb and low bore axis will help soak up the recoil as well. LOLWell, it isnt a 22short. That power has to go somewhere!

I noticed zero effect, positive or negative, on accuracy. I would certainly put one on given the opertunity again.
So did I, my AR got a lot noisier when I put a flash hider on it!Oh thats sweet.
Thought it would be the opposite??
Also it looks cool though lol.
I just like razzing and trolling
Which compensator did you use? I put a DLASK XB-5 on my Winchester Xpert 17 WSM but unfortunately didn't really make a point to observe the difference before and after. The added weight up front improved the balance though.I put a CZ compensator on my 455 Varmint barreled rifle. Either way, CZ and Colt are helping the corrupt Liberal Government with the OIC gun grab.
Hence the label traitors to the gun culture and world.![]()
I recently heard the same rumor, although I could not verify the same......Don't quote me on this, but apparently the consumer pressure here and in the US has caused CZ to recant. There is no official statement from them I believe, but the Quebec Surete is now tasked with destroying the collected firearms.

This one, available fromCZ Parts: https://www.cz-parts.com/cz-457-compensator-varmintWhich compensator did you use? Can you believe the muzzle rise off this thing when shot off a rest? 3000fps is no joke... probably more like 2800 given the 16.5" barrel though I don't care enough to buy a chrono.
Looks like a radial muzzle brake, no clue how that's capable of reducing the perceived noise to the shooter. This one, available fromCZ Parts: https://www.cz-parts.com/cz-457-compensator-varmint
