I never would have seen those if you hadn't posted this, thanks a bunch! Ordered two kits, along with an 1889!

For anyone interested, there were a bunch of K11's recently posted, I missed out on those, but there is also 30 1889's up for sale. I hummed and hawwed for too long and missed my chance at a diopter equipped K31, when I saw these for a reasonable price I jumped on one without hesitation. Thanks Tradex for all the Swiss stuff you're bringing in, and for keeping the prices lower than you needed to! Can't wait to add to the Swiss collection! :cool:
 
Aaagh, would someone lock this stupid thread! At least the third time I've clicked on it expecting to be able to afford a K31.

They are just trendy right now. You'd think the K11 should actually cost more. It's older, they didn't make as many, and it was ACTUALLY made by Schmidt Rubin
 
yes, but the bolt and receiver are stronger and the bolt locking lugs are located differently for strength and quicker/smoother action. also the bolt handle is all metal, and IIRC the carbine is shorter while still having the same length barrel
