Mine arrive. No pics to share, but my VKT has, unexpected by me, a SAKO stock, which is cool.

The Sneak rifle looks unissued. I don't think a round has been put down the barrel, it's so sharp

A bit of Ballistol will clean up the grime from the stocks?

Yeah, I'll have to give the shooter a good "scrub" to remove all the grime!

The trio I just picked up from the post office. All three look brand new, both "Sneaks" have beautifully figured stocks. Thanks for bringing these in TradeEX!

From top to bottom, 1968 no name "Sneak", 1967 no name "Sneak" and a refurbished 1944 VKT :

I wonder who has the record for most rifles ordered from this batch, not including dealer re-sellers. So far it's Harry Callahan from what I can tell.
 
Arrived today, rifle is in excellent shape (as advertised - excellent packaging too!), was looking for a decent shooter without caring about rarity and if it shoots as good as it looks/has held up, I'll be more than happy. 1942 VKT (will post some more detail pics in the Milsurp forum thread) :

The action is beautifully smooth on mine. Hoping to find some ammo that runs well in this rifle as I don't reload. Does anyone know of any ammo that does not make the bolt/action "sticky" and hard to cycle?
 
I can't believe there's still a straight stock left - the sneak rifles don't really hold any interest for me personally since they're postwar, but that's a genuine wartime rarity! I personally wanted a more representative wartime M39 since I didn't have one already and only had the cash to buy one, but seeing it still sitting there is downright tempting!

Unfortunately I have something else earmarked for purchase next week.

Bad Nyles! My first one I received wasn't a war time stocked one,,which is my own mistake. So ya, ordered this one you brought to my attention Nyles. My credit card hates you. :)

Now, what to do with this first one.
