Never had a bad experience with Tradex. Firearms I have purchased from them have been in better condition than described.
Ive owned a few Tulas, they feel really SKSish. Are thee really a noticeably better build or is is more collectibility?
Mine was delivered this am, at work now so wait is killing me lol!
Still waiting for a tracking # bought it early yesterday morning
Just bought one. A present from my wife celebrating our new son!
Congrats on the new kid .... and the new gun!!!
I really love to have one. But I have hard time to justify a buy of 900$ semi auto with the Liberals looking to implement Australian gun control style.
I have the same concern, but i'm already looking at loosing ten's of thousand of dollars already so what's another grand.
I aint losing $hit. Justin and his fem-nazi thugs can eat a buffet of dicks before I willingly give up my property. At some point principals have to guide out conscious rather than not wanting to get into a court battle.
As was said above, normal bore, not chrome lined. This is not the Yugo m59, it is the 59/66 with the muzzle brake// grenade launcher, with the associated sights, gas system etc. Much as there are different models of other military firearms which makes them worth more, the same goes with this one. There is lots of non corrosive around if you want to shoot it, or spend the extra 5 minutes and clean it properly like everyone else does. Personally, I would probably leave it in the grease as I did my last one,,,, unless zi could access the proper blanks and dummy grenades, then I would have to learn how to fire them! They looks cool & solid. Stock seems a bit longer . Probably more weight than original SKS . My question about barrel. Have heard that Yugo sks NO CHROME lined. Keeping in mind that use of surplus ammo still more attractive than commercial , that will create a little problem to always remember thoroughly clean the gun after every single use...
Now that is some lube!
