New Beretta 90-two

First of all its not a 90-two.....its 92.FS, and you can pretty much get them at any gun store, or if there not in, I'm sure they can be ordered in a couple of weeks. As for prices, a brand new Beretta 92.FS (9.mm) will cost you anywhere from $899.00 - $950 (At least a G-Note including taxes).

Open mouth....insert foot.:D
I was at Al Simmons a few weeks ago and seen a press release for the new 90 two. They were saying that the 92fs is no longer in production.

According to the same source..(Al Simmon's), most of the current Beretta
pistol lineup...92FS, Elite, Brigadier, etc, will be phased out and the new
90-two is pretty much it...
It looks pretty neat, and will apparently come with a choice of grips..
No news on prices/availability..but it's going to have to be in the same 'ballpark' as the current 92FS.

functionally its more or less the same gun, but yes it looks neat, i guess like everyone else, its got a rail to mount stuff on now too...

very interesting... dunno why but it reminds me of the Bilennium

Very nice looking gun. I have allways liked the 92fs but it doesn't fit my hand quite right. I like the looks of the Vertec a lot, but this one is way nicer.

So.. has it hit the market then? I'm not too sure about it to be honest. There was just something about the 92FS that didn't seem to feel quite right with me. I'm sure you're aware of what I mean... just some gut feeling that tells you that you'd end up somewhat dissapointed in the end.

But I'd be willing to give this one a second shot. Mostly because it looks all spacey and futuristic.

It was indicated that these new units would indeed come with ?2 interchangable grips..one similar to the standard 92, and one similar to the
more 'upright' Vertec...Obviously a (smart) marketing move to reduce the
necessary inventory, and yet make sure everybody is 'covered' as far as
preferences is concerned...It's the current trend in ambi controls and makes these 'units' much more attractive for those lucrative police/military contracts.

After clicking on all the links on that site and getting a pretty good look at that gun (without handling it) I think it might be even ###ier than the SP-01. Which is saying a lot.

Having received, and LOVED, the SP-01..(.still going to keep my 85B), I think
you're right, and I will likely be tempted to order one of these new Berettas!

no the standard line is not being phased out. this is simply an addition. The Vertec may get phased out there as it's now redundant.
