New CZ 457 Bolt Difficult To Open

I have a new 457 Varmint barreled action that's temporarily living in an ACC Premier Gen 2 chassis.
Took it out for a test drive today and the bolt was very difficult to open. A little stiff to close but not a problem and it slides very well. It's just opening that bolt that's giving me trouble.
Fortunately, I took another bolt with me that's seen about 1,000 rounds in a 457 American and it was fine.
Stripped the bolt down when I got home, checked, cleaned and lightly lubed. There was an improvement but not huge.
Opening the bolt isn't a problem until the trigger is pressed. My understanding is that lifting the bolt after pressing the trigger cocks the striker but past that, I don't really know where to look for the problem.

Sounds like yours may be a different problem, but have you tried cycling the bolt with the action out of the chassis? You can get into a situation with the CZ rimfires where tolerances are off by a little bit and the rear action screw presses against the bolt.
 
Could be a head-soace issue. I ran into the same issue when I installed a new varmint barrel on to my 455. It was actually crushing the rims on the ammo. (I measured rim thickness before chambering and after with live ammo). I ended up having to shim the barrel to where there was slightly more force required to chamber a round than when "dry cycling" the rifle with no ammunition. Measure your rim thickness with a good caliper.

After stripping, cleaning and lubing I gave the bolt a pretty good workout last night.
Went shooting this afternoon and there is a marked improvement. I think even better after a couple of hundred rounds. Not as good as my other bolt but much better than it was.
So, I'm thinking it's probably a matter of breaking it in.
