New CZ 858-2 Owner!!!

Mine wears a NEA upper hand guard that has some up and down play and an aimpoint comp m4s... absolutely love mine. Can't wait till the next time I take it to the range.
 
Just got one recently and have to rave about it to. Also have my front sight blade way to the left (seems to be others out there with the same) but POA shoots to POI.

I am really liking this gun. Wish it had a chrome bore is my only thing.
 
I bought mine a month ago and I really love it way more than my sks...

Are you guys using muzzle brake/flash hider ?
 
Average accuracy?

I think I'll buy one. But after I do the first thing I'd like to do is modify a long mag to about the length a 10 rounder woulb be but leave it pinned to 5. Handier if I use it for a little bush gun I'm thinking.

You can buy shorter mags.
 
Awesome for hunting!

I think the VZ/CZ are great for hunting. The main reason why I bought mine is to use it as my bush rifle. The 7.62X39 will work wonders on deer and other such game. The rifle is light and there are numerous accessories and configurations that you can use. I wouldn't use it as my long range firearms but for the distances I'm planing on using it for (about 100M) it's great!
 
yep CZs are absolutely awesome... i cant get enough of mine.. :)
my set up is not exactly for hunting, but i am planing to take it with me
next time i go for deer or small game ... here it is.. :

My front sight is also way off to the left. Any advice on this topic would be great. Not sure:confused: what to do...
 
my front sight is way off to the left as well. but it shoots damn straight right out of the box.

oh phew, i thought i did something wrong with that paint peel. GOD that scared the crap out of me for a moment.

My thoughts after the first test fire: "After 20 rounds and getting myself used to the reloads... i looked over, saw the smoking barrel, had a smell... *OH SH*T* barrel's bubbling up! I OVERHEATED the Barrel... FU*K! The paint is falling off??"

I need to save up for both the Chrome job and the handguard+muzzle brake
 
I just reached the 750 round mark on my cz i have never had a miss fire and i have no paint peeling my sight was way to the left out of the box but it shoots great i love this rifle
 
does that mean i've paid for a lemon on the paint job?? :(

I got mine from Chilliwack...
Should I ask the shop about the paint peel or just go with the Chrome job instead?

Would there be any integrity failure in the future?
