New DA556 rifles - What do you want?

I'm looking for an AR that shoots 7.62x39, takes AK (or similar mags) and doesn't look or operate like an AR!!!!!

Possiby a Canammo version of the Type 81 :-0

^ This.

Also, a 22" 7.62x39 AR upper with quad rail would be nice. I like my 10.5, but I'd like to see the improvement of a longer barrel.

18 - 20" with a variety of calibres (5.56 NATO, 7.62x39, .308, 9, .22, .45), flat-top with top rail. Keymod on bottom.
FDE or anything other than black would be terrific. Can you make it so uppers/lowers are not interchangeable with ARs?
That may make it possible to be non-restricted.

The Canadian market is flooded with 16" AR's as it is and not enough 14.5" which is one of those deals Canadians have over the U.S due to the laws. This is actually what made me purchase a Norinco as well as price. I'd also like to see a 12.5" option as well which is something you rarely see and I personally think they would sell very well upon deciding the rest of the configuration out of box. A full length keymod or mlock would definitly add to the attraction and keep the ambi controls. Dust cover and forward assist I would keep as well. Any chance of FDE or OD green color options?

20" barrel, flat top, round foreend, flip up sights, ambi-controls. 1/7" or 1/8" twist. Nothing 1/9 or slower as the market is saturated with those. Throated long to accept long bullets.....??

Could you maybe do rifles minus the furniture? Kind of like the way aero or brownells does, that way guys can build what they want without paying extra for stuff they're just going to throw away?

The only thing I can say is if you have the choice bring in
m-lok not keymod keymod is not open source so there are far less options avaliable.

Wow, that's some promising news.....bare bones ARs, seperate uppers and lowers, various length barrels....off to a good start. For those who want handguards, just have to figure out MLok or Keymod....or both I suppose.

Looking forward to seeing this go through.

As to ammo, PMC is about as cheap as we get these days. The Norinco was a fluke of US politics.

We will start reloading 223 next year, so that will be cheaper.
