What the hell are you talking about? His rifle apparently worked just fine. You don't like rifles that work as intended?

He didn't even use the iron sights. Do a search, crooked front sights are not unique to the Chinese. US manufacturers have been doing it far longer. Hell, even Colt and BCM have done it. 99% of the time it's not even an issue as the sights can still be zeroed with room to spare.

I'm not even sure how this turned into a dump on China 'fest. If you ask me there is zero issue with the gun and several issues with the OPs expectations and understanding of the AR platform.
 
I think you're S.O.L. because you're two years too late... Good thing is it doesn't really matter as your rifle cycles fine, you can use a RDS, and swap out for a low-pro gas block if you really want to.

Take solace you probably only paid $499 for it, and they're another $200 now!
 
I would look at it with the optic removed. It may not be as canted as you think.

If it was me I would try it with the rear sight and if I can make hits with it, not worry about it. These are great, sturdy rifles that shoot fairly well and last a long time, but they are also inexpensive rifles and might not be worth sinking lots of $$ and effort into fixing what is mostly a cosmetic problem.
 
My DA556 lower receiver mated with the Diemaco C8 upper went full auto at the range. Function test with RO's present proved perfect semi-auto only function, still went full auto regardless afterwards (even after borrowing another bolt assy.) Total round count since new on the lower is around 200. Individual part inspection revealed an unusual trigger reminiscent of full auto examples (with the open rear tang) came with my rifle, the parts would not function in another lower that was made in the US. I have since destroyed the Norinco FCG due to it's inability to transfer over to other receivers and the fact that despite manual function testing not showing full auto function, it would do so anyway when fired.

I've learned my lesson, the only redeeming part of Norinco AR's (to me) are the A1 upper receivers, the rest I cannot trust after my own personal experience. I also have a Norinco M305 that I have had nothing but good luck with, but despite it's value I'm still wary after my AR incident.
