New extended magazine made in Canada for bolt actions, and the challenges!

I like them, they shoot well, don't go off on their own, and the company didn't go broke, but hey lots of people still like to drink koolaid. :)
 
i have one for my savage in 7.62x39 works awsome slick they are far from a rough job like the camera shows. for 45 $ i couldnt be any happyer. plus im happy im suporting someone local who isnt my cousin

No need to come down hard on some guy who’s doing something productive and on a guy who tries to share it.

Channel your negative energy towards Trudeau and Blair instead.
 
Your cousin should just make the extended snap on plastic bottoms like the factory Savage 10 round 308 mags but in 223. Offer them with springs, would be easier and probably last a lot longer, no followers to make, no glue to hold it together.

In what universe am I a Remington fan? Of ~100 guns owned in my short life 2 have been Remingtons. I have 0 brand loyalty compared to most on this board

Just because somethings made in Canada we should all pile on even it’s plastic fantastic?
 
I removed the close up photos to keep the string on track, lots of naysayers out there needing to go for a walk and enjoy Spring.

It's a mag, I don't really care what it looks like as long as it doesn't break like the 200$ Famae SAF mags that didn't mag it through 2 range sessions.
Most 3D printed stuff looks like this, I'm sure it will get better with time as the technology improves.
 
If that is what you like, and it works for you, fly at it!! Personally, I have no use for any long, fugly
extended magazine on my rifles. [This is not aimed at anyone who feels they want the extra firepower]
I just think such magazines, regardless of their source, are definitely not for me. I have never felt the
need in the field for multiple follow up shots, so 1, 2 or 3 shots work fine. I often hunt moose in areas
frequented by Grizzly Bears with a #1 Ruger. I'll leave it at that. Dave.

man i guess you havent picked up a rifle for a while. good luck finding one without some plastic on it. nobody is asking you to pile onto anything buddy. why are you so down on it? maybe you would rather buy the chinese made stuff? i for one and more than happy to suport a local guy, and best of all, it WORKS AWSOME.
 
I can easily view this as an extra layer of warm and fuzzy. Especially if one is in those weird peat bogs near Winifred Lake and you are suddenly amongst a wolf pack.

Another possible scenario: wild boar in double digit numbers.

My rifle is just a .223, so I like the extra rounds for varmints, no zombie thoughts here, especially fun when doing bolt action metal duelling paddles. :)
