Hey guys,
I got a Glock 17 Gen 5 a couple of weeks ago, my first Glock.
Took it to the range and put 150 rounds through it, when I came home and cleaned it I noticed that the trigger pin was protruding on the left side.
I popped it back in (had to apply quite a lot of pressure with a punch) and centered it, figured it might have came like that.
Took it out to the range and put another 150 rounds through it again the next week. Came home and noticed the same thing, which frustrated me.
I watched some videos to understand how the single pin works. It has two grooves which catch on the slide stop when centered.
I popped the pin out (it is not loose in any way, I have to apply pressure with a punch to move it, and wobble the slidestop).
Made sure it was centered and that the groves are lined up properly.
Took it out to the range again and this time I watched the pin walk out to the left..
20 rounds and there is movement.
50 rounds and it protrudes from the gun.
100-150 rounds and it protrudes to the extend that I can basically grab it with my fingers.
I e-mailed Bullseye where I got it and they just told me to speak with the Canadian distributor.
Called today and they are to get back to me at some point.
Pretty frustrated, the gun is less than a month old with 450 rounds through it, having to deal with this crap is not what I expected when I got a Glock.
Extremely happy with the gun, but this issue is very annoying.
Has anyone dealt with something simliar?
Here are some pictures. This is after 50 rounds...any sugestion?
