New Glock 48 coming in January?

A perfect fit

With an extensive history of reliability and durability, GLOCK has expanded the product line by introducing two compact slimline pistols; ideal for everyday carry. Chambered in 9X19, both pistols feature a compact, slimline frame with silver nPVD finish and a 10-round magazine capacity. While the two pistols share the same size frame, they each have different slide lengths. The slide for the G43X is the same sub-compact length as the G43 (6.06 in) while the G48 has a compact length (6.85 in).

$760 for a slim Glock SD9VE version, I prefer G19x, at least G19x has night sight better than plastic U rear sight.

The "U" sight on the glocks are POS, I sold my gen 4 cause of this, ya ya ya I was too cheap to replace them

Why don't the make a "budget glock" in the price range of SWs SD9s and 40s?

This is what in was hoping it would be , but according to US pricing I'll just buy a used one on EE in the future, not even sure what the hype is about, like I mean I like the two tone stainless slide, thats about it

A retailer just posted a pre-order at $900. *sigh

Msrp 900.00 CAD. 200.00 CAD deposit required * Pre-order items may have unavoidable changes in delivery date, price or quantity available and we will notify customers ASAP

It's just an estimate.
Personally, I dont think they are going to cost that much. 750-850 at most.

Glock 48's with plastic sights are available for pre-order for $449 USD in the states. I am sure that iRunGuns will be doing a similar price. So likely $700 CDN all in, or $825 all in with the Ameriglo sights.

Raven Concealment is now accepting pre-orders for (G48) holsters.

I don't think you understand how the market works. SD9ve go for what they do because SW wanted to capture lower end market. m&p is they're Glock alternative. Glock has been the leader in the field for a long tome, OTHERS try to complete their Glock. For Glock to make a budget gun it would be undercutting the sales of their other guns and thus would be shooting themself in the foot. Not mention most people will be willing to pay already reasonable price Glocks go for. lower price would would also suggest it's a subpar Glock.

And yet, myself and another member on here saw a pre-order in the states for $449!

1900??? Using a broken keyboard?

Why so confrontational.

Is that regular price or some lower than MSRP introductory promo price by a few select dealers (who likely posted those prices before Glock publicly said $580). With a quick search I come up with two American links. Glock Store has a pre order for $449-$549. The second is a commercial distributor for $449. The first link to the Google search shows a Canadian pre-order for $900.
Myself and a few other members have seen it ;)

$1900 is poking fun at our exchange rate. Figured I picked a high enough number that it would come across as obvious sarcasm. ...guess not.

I'm not likely to order a gun that hasn't been properly tested by third parties yet. Price is high on that, 50 bucks more and you get a proper 17.

Finally this stupidity is settled. Everyone take this as a lesson to not just convert the American MSRP.

So I already did an MSRP check on the Glock 17 and it was a direct match after conversion, did the same just now with the Glock 34, it too was a match in MSRP. It’s not silly to draw that conclusion.

Glock g43x & g48

Perfection is not an accident. The G48 and G43X bring form, feel, and function together to create a perfect fit. https://us.glock.com/a-perfect-fit
