Picked up a 34 Gen 4.. so besides breaking her in by firing lots of rounds, any tips?

I see a ton of customization options out there, pretty cool actually.. and looks very easy to work on.

So far fired maybe 200 rounds, its a different beast than my Shadow, but I like it!

Congrats on your new gun . I have the same one and liked it so much I just bought the Glock 35 gen 4 (40 cal) to go with it.
What type of sights are on yours ?
Tactical111 on here may be able to help you with some info on mods. He has one that's tweaked a bit..lol

Tip dont get sucked into to buying snake oil parts.

Biggest thing to remember with glock is dont stage the trigger. Take up the slack and fire with one smooth pull of the trigger.

What's a snake oil part?

What I've looked at so far are different weight springs and such, but waiting for her to be nice and broken in.

Stock sights right now, I find them OK

Why not buy a 9mm conversion barrel for the 35 and sell the 34?
The more the merrier I suppose ;)

Snake oil parts as in aftermarket parts promising accuracy improvement.

Oh and if it stuffs up it usually your fault. Limp wrist etc.

I had a g17 that I put a LOT of rounds through, 10k a year at least for 3 years or so, never a single stoppage or jam, great guns!

There's lots that can be done to the 34....Start with fiber optic sights and a 3.5# disconnector...

In time, you may want a modified OEM trigger kit...I found it improved the trigger substantially. I had probably 20k rounds through my other g17 before I ever played with trigger parts.

There.is a 25 cent trigger job that can be done as well

don't get sucked in by all the mods, best you can do now is shoot the thing stock, and get GOOD at it just like that.
When and if the time comes and IF you decide to do mods, you will appreciate your stock trigger because of all the good things you learnt from it. :)
