Well, I went and paid for a Glock 17 yesterday at 5:30, faxed my range membership info later that night, phoned today at shortly after 1pm and the transfer was done and I had my short term ATT as well as my long term ATT faxed to the store 15 minutes later.
I was thinking it was a long drawn out process but I had my 1st restricted purchase done ( gun home and ready to run to the range) in under 24hrs. The lady I talked to in Edmonton was a doll, very professional and lightning quick.
AND so on to my question:
I had some metal shavings/flakes/slivers (silver/grey in color) in the slide when I took out the barrel and recoil spring, is that normal from factory? It's not showing any signs of damage that I can see.
Also, just curious as to what lubricants others are using on their glocks? What sort of light grease is found to be best?
