Hi,
I've been lurking since mid-winter reading all the threads, doing a ton of searches and educating myself as best as I could. Another hobby to take into retirement in a few years. Had long guns when I was younger, .22's, Remington 870 pump, Marlin 30-30. Sold them when kids arrived. Took the course in April, bolted a 200 lb safe to the basement floor in May, tried out handguns at a range to make sure, got my Rpal last week, joined a range the next day and bought a Sig 226 E2 in 9mm. Held and manipulated everything I could first. Kept coming back to the Sig. Fits my hand great and will fit my wifes as well. Will pick up a .22 later. Waiting for the ATT and safety course.
I have to thank all of the members here on this forum for being so patient and forthcoming with great info for us newbie's. If it wasn't for all the great advise dished out and discussed here I wouldn't feel as secure as I do about the decisions I've made.
Cheers and thanks again
