New HI POINT Carbine

For me, the Hi-point is killed by the fact its restricted, and stuck at 5 rounds. Im sure they are great guns for the money though.

Not stuck at 5 rounds. Mags are PISTOL and hold 9 and 1 in the chamber =10 . The 45"s mags are interchangeable with the HI Point 45 pistol sold in canada....you know..THE BRICK LOL.The 9mm is pinned because the 9mm hand gun is not sold in Canada. I don't know about the 40cal.

I just shoot at the range, but even I would rather have an NR for reduced PITA. Still, the price point is right and a 45ACP carbine would be a hoot, no doubt.

I shot the Keltec in 9mm a few nights ago. Like a tactical walking stick, but a fun little gun. Shooting lefty gave me a few powder burns to the chin, but nothing a bandana won't prevent.

Owner of it said he prefered it to the JR, as it felt more solid and less plastic-like.

I have 5 Non restricted rifles, so having the Hi point as range gun is no biggie.
90% of the time I spend is Handgun shooting at the range anyways. I think it is very well built for the price. I have paid twice this much and got less. 30 years ago I use to tromp through the bushes with my 303 for hours on end.... not any more LOL. I enjoy having my truck, tunes, a comfortable place to sit and munchies close by.
