NEW: Holosun red dot sight (Aimpoint Clone)

Alots of dealers stock them.
Most popular mounts are American Defense manufacturing mounts but they are around $100 (QD mounts). The ADM mounts are the same quality as LaRue mounts.
The shooting Edge, Oneshot Tactical and Calgary Shooting Centre all carry American Defense Manufacturing mounts.

You can also get Daniel Defense mounts for like $75. Or you can look at the mounts at Brownells...they have more selection.

 brother!

I ordered mine from Canada Ammo and couldn't be happier. I also own a Sparc. Holosun in my opinion is better than the Sparc in every way. Even the battery is much easier to find. I put it on my T97 and co-witnessed with my MI BUIS. I thought the higher mount might be too high but cheek rest is fine. Been holding zero for several hundred rounds so far.

The auto on feature is real fun too. You never have to press any buttons. Pick it up and blast away. Great for cold outdoor ranges. Canada Ammo has put more smiles on my face than any other dealer over the years. Just a great business!! Thanks again!

Is it possible to remove the A model from the see through mount it comes with? I don't understand what " AR height mount and low base" means. Thanks.

I was just reading over the limited lifetime warranty and it's a bit strange.
Original owner, and only the metal casing is lifetime.
Optics 5 years and Electronics 3 years.
Basically I'd call it a 3 year warranty.

HOLOSUN® Limited Lifetime Warranty

August 1, 2014
To the original owner, your Holosun product is warranted free of defects in materials and workmanship with the Holosun Limited Lifetime Warranty. This warranty specifically applies to the metal structure of the product and does not apply to the optical and illumination systems. The optical system is covered by the 5 year warranty. The illumination system including electronics is covered by the 3 year warranty. Batteries are not covered under warranty.
In the event of a confirmed defect under this warranty, we will, at our option, repair or replace the product. This Limited Warranty does not apply to: (a) asserted defects caused by normal wear and tear of any part including knobs, camouflage finish, etc.; (b) asserted defects caused by modification, unauthorized service, accidents, neglect, misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, acts of Nature; and (c) asserted defects involving subjective personal likes or judgments. Also, this warranty is null and void if modification or maintenance is provided by someone other than Holosun. Registration is not required to validate this warranty.

It's underwhelming for sure. I wouldn't expect a failed metal case on these units unless it was impacted by something and their warranty doesn't cover accidental damage.
The electronics and the seal of the unit is probably the most vulnerable parts of this type of sight. I have noticed that many manufacturers put warranty limits on the electronic parts of their scopes. Vortex is one company I can think of that will replace electronics for life which is pretty amazing really.

Does the G model have the bigger turret knobs or are they the same as the A model? They're just covers apprantly, and the adjustment dials inside are the same height. I like the minimalist look without knobs sticking out too far.

I just received the new HS406 30mm tube with mount. Love it so far and love the auto on feature and 2 MOA dot. Heading to the range tomorrow!

my $3500 Schmidt & Bender only has 2 year warranty, go figure....

I guess that's why they don't advertise a limited lifetime warranty like holosun. I just find the lifetime part a little chessy if they are only talking about the risk of metal fatigue of the main body.

I was wondering about S&B the other day..... aimpoint as well is only 10 years for Joe's and 2 or 3 years for pros.
Does S&B differentiate between a war zone and the local club or is it just a straight 2 years?

You don't here a lot of talk of S&B repair issues probably due to the fact they are built well and hardly anyone has them.

Does S&B have Canadian support?

Interesting warranty for sure, at least they are commited to long time support! Nothing worse then being told your 11 year old tool or appliance is no longer supported!

Within 30 years from the date of the purchase we undertake to entertain a permanent stock of the required spare parts and make sure that our service engineers have all the necessary skills and capabilities to perform the required repair work.

The warranty will not be valid for damages caused by improper use.

The warranty shall become void after any intervention and repair performed by any repair service we did not authorize to perform the repair.
