2003 F250 SuperDuty 6.0L Turbo Diesel Powerstroke; 121K km. I bought this truck from the company I work for, sight unseen for $17,300 ($18,511 with GST), out of Fort St. John B.C.
I have to say it needs some TLC on the body, particularly along the bottom (no running boards) and around the box wheel wells. You can see that pretty clearly in the quartering view rear shot. Both the flaps that protect the box blew out so sand and gravel has sprayed the interior box panles. It looks like simple stuff for the bodyshop to fix though. I expect it's going to cost me somewhere around $700-$1,000 to get that fixed up; also needs running boards, bug deflector as soon as the body work is done.

The interior is quite dirty. It is going to a detail shop...

Mechanically the truck ran perfectly on the drive from FSJ to Whitecourt. It powers up those long hills effortlessly. :)
Somewhat of an upgrade over my 1976 Chevy... :D

As soon as I hit town I went to Kal-Tire and bought a set of BF Goodrich Radial Mud A/T's 285/75 R16's on Helo Black Maxx 16" x 8" rims. The center piece was missing from the front sets so Kal-Tire owes me a set of those. Supposedly they will be in, in a couple of days.

We have 2 dozen F350's with the Powerstroke diesels at our gold mine in Russia.

Great engine, great torque from idle on up.

We have some durability issues with the front ends but they are being abused by everyone on site afterall.

I checked with the bodyshop today and to repair the bottoms of the quarter panels and box wheel wells is going to be $1,100. Ken is going to put stainless steel wheel well liners in the box too, included in the $1,100. Kinda ball park what I figured. If I throw a set of running boards/nerf bars on it it's going to end up around $22,750. $1,000 more then I had originally figured, but not bad really.

Btw I don't like running boards but they are pretty much mandatory to protect the body...

Bone-Collector that's a bad ass looking truck you got there!

Driving into that hole to rescue a Chevy eh!? ;)

X2 around here without them you can kiss all your paint good by. Unless you do What Pete did and weld a stainless pannel up in the nerf bar to keep the mud from hitting the body. Looks good and works as well as running boards.

You bet. I've had that Chevy about 12 years I guess. It's never let me down but it's a ##### on fuel and it has a fraction of the HP of this new Powerstroke. My moose hunting buddy is likely going to take it off me and use the frame and drive line to rebuild another old Chevy he has (several).

Btw that 1976 rig is genuine DND spec. It started out as a 3/4 ton and the military optioned it up to full 1 ton axles (9420lb GVW). It has 4:56 gears, it is full time 4x4; Hi-4x4, Hi-Lock, Lo-4x4 and Lo-Lock, no 2 wheel drive option at all. But it need a little TLC to freshen up the engine and it also could use some body work...

Wanna step up with the big boys. Time for a 6 inch suspension, and a 3 inch body lift, and 38 inch tires. Or a 3 inch body lift and 33's. Then you will have nobody who wants to use your truck to help them move something.
