NEW ITEM: Dominion Arms Socom 18

Had mine out at the range last Sunday. I had some stoppages when I fired her last summer/fall, but a generous application of grease on the op rod spring and guide as well as the other key areas fixed that.

The rifle balances well in the hands. It grouped about the size of my hand shooting offhand at 100 yards and I hit two out of four shots at a hardly visible 200 yard gong at the end of the day, the failures being mine, not the rifle's. It has a much nicer finish and look than the 18.5" Short Rifle that Canadaammo carried before it and looks better finished than most of the other Norinco's that I've seen. I've put mine into a plain fibreglass USGI stock that gives it a more slender look but otherwise it's all original.

If they ever get more in I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in getting one and I'll definitely plan on taking mine into the woods for deer and other big game.

I do not think you can have a Canam Dominion arms Socom 18, since these where made 2013 and there where no MIM bolts at that time period, however Marstar was selling a rifle that looked just like the Socom 18 and I believe they might have had MIM bolts since they where available 2018 on.

Can Am version no. Marstar version maybe
