There are no .45 versions and the gen 1 was 18.5" folded, so should be the same (length of the barrel).

Don't buy this piece of.... I bought a Gen 1 and could never get any accessories.

The factory picatinny forend is a great upgrade from the Gen 1.

Other than that, it was already a great gun.

The front sight is a huge upgrade.
The redesigned stronger grip is a bonus as well.... hopefully the new shape and plastic molds take care of the failure issues that some of the gen 1's had.

A small red dot on a 45 deg offset mount should work, otherwise quick detachable shouldn't be too bad.
