NEW Kel-Tec GEN 2 Sub 2000

Also anyone that did grab one we'd love to hear your feedback!

The pros of the new version are.

Better solid grip
Better front sight with a threaded on sight assembly and a threaded muzzle
Higher more comfortable sight line/cheek weld
Better ergonomics of the foreend and the included rails make sense
Larger ejection port
Adjustable length of pull
Trigger seems a bit better with less flex
And the CDN version with the longer barrel actually looks nicer proportionally then the original 16" model, also the front sight is extended forward with the longer barrel to increase the sight radius.

The only real negative is there is quite a bit of slop side to side between the receiver and the barrel when locked up on mine.

Are they still going to make the Sig Sauer magazine version? Liked my Gen 1 (sig mags), as I have about 10 magazines that I can use. I'd buy a Sig 226 model if you can get it!

YES! From Keltec's site:

The 9mm SUB-2000 can be configured in the following magazine types: GLK17, GLK19, S&W59, BERETTA92, SIG226.
The SUB-2000 is a self-loading carbine for pistol cartridges. Different versions of the SUB-2000 will accept most modern handgun magazines; see below for a complete list. The SUB-2000 has a greatly enhanced accuracy and extended range compared to a handgun. The superior precision is also very useful against small or partially covered targets at shorter range. The amount of training to master the SUB-2000 is only a fraction of that required for a handgun. The SUB-2000 is available in 9 mm Luger or .40 S&W calibers.

The bolt can be locked in the rear position by the operating handle. The main safety is of protected push bolt type disconnecting the trigger bar and interlocking the hammer and sear. By rotating the barrel upwards and back, the SUB-2000 can be reduced to a size of 16" x 7" to facilitate secure storage. The rear sight is of aperture type and the AR style front sight can be adjusted for windage and elevation as well as be entirely removed to expose the threaded barrel. The SUB-2000 can easily be disassembled for cleaning or inspection without tools.
The 9mm SUB-2000 can be configured in the following magazine types: GLK17, GLK19, S&W59, BERETTA92, SIG226.
The .40 SUB-2000 can be configured in the following magazine types: GLK22, GLK23, BERETTA96, S&W4006, SIG226.

On post #50 it says keltec will have some configured for G19 , but Reliable said otherwise . Who s right and whos wrong ??

It didn't sound like they were going to be making any Canadian length barreled G19 versions in the near future. We'll bring them in if we get the chance.

Got my KTS2000G2 this morning!!! Thanks Super Reliable Gun... It's better than I expected! What a sweet gun. I will be using it sometime this week and I will post a my 2 cents brief review. Thanks for great service as usual Reliable Gun. Just a quick comment about your web site - your site really flows and is easy to navigate, has to be one of the best sites online anywhere. Again thanks from the other side of the Country (Nova Scotia). :) Lenden99

Thank you Lenden99!

We've been really working at trying to make it as easy as possible to navigate and use. I don't come from a computer background at all but I sure know what bugs me on certain nonfunctional websites. Also we've had a huge amount of feedback on how to make it better and are always looking for more.

If ever anyone has an ideas I'm always open to hear them, especially if it makes everyones experience better.

Wow! Sub 2000 gen 2 is very impressive. Shot 150 rounds over the weekend - flawless! And all I had on hand was steel cased ammo. Omg what a nice gun.
