The Lucky Irish hand guard was a breeze to install. Loctite is highly recommend.
I have had no further issues with keyholing and now believe it was simply the first 20 rds out of a brand new barrel.

Reliability has been fantastic, accuracy not so much ( with handloads and factory).

I purchased some bulk 55g federal and look forward to doing some more accuracy testing. All in all a great rifle. It is a small package that points well and the ergonomics are easy to get used to. It seems compatible with all brands of magazines so far.

The Kel-Tec OEM handguard was not a breeze to install (on my Hunter model anyways) but after some light filing of the plastic parts it found a home and has no play whatsoever, probably due to the fitting procedure. Kel-Tec said it wouldn’t fit but I made it work and I couldn’t be happier. Completely changes the feel and handling, a very worthwhile upgrade.

I also bought one from Tillsonburg but because I live in Alberta, Canada Post has it stuck in Stony Creek so have not received it yet.


Have you tried put in a LAR 10/10 magazine in the RDB? Wondering if its a hassle considering the height of the magazine.

Lar-15 mags stick out far enough but not a lot of room. Might be an issue with heavy gloves but barehand no problem at all.

Magpul USGI ranger plates add just enough to grab.

Haha, your the one who bought that, thought I was sneaky finding that put it in my cart then slept in it and it was gone...

Luckily I found another at an unknown dealer and it’s on the way.

I’m curious to also find out ammo pref as I don’t reload and I was about to order some Bulk SP as I have no use for FMJ as this is a predator and varmint rifle for me.

I was also gonna put my Vortex 1-6x on it but toying with splurging and getting a thermal scope for it... waiting to see if I like it though, I had a long debate over this vs a short barrel 6.5 bolt action in a McMillan style stock.

Abit off topic but what thermal were you thinking of getting and where from?
I was contemplating getting one of those clamp on types to play with as a novelty but I can't really find where they are sold here other than abit shady looking of an optics website that claims its Canadian. (Cant remember the name of it)
