No doubt but I have seen people try to correct miss cut vpline ways and move the feed ramp angles to such a degree that it would cause feeding issue's. Hence why I have always been a strong advocate for ditching the iron sights on any barrel that has out of index barrel and replacing it with either the Dlask gas block or even better yet U.F.S. gas system mod. As these will always ensure that; Can someone show me reference material that is telling you guys to use the feed ramps as an indicator for indexing?
I've indexed 100's of these rifles and feedramps were not part of the equation.
Norinco flash hider. Everything was oem parts for that trip. Just installed a NEA oversized bolt catch and hoping my usgi spec spring will be in sometime this coming week.
Here is a couple pics, I only have a cell phone so they arent very good quality. The gun is leaning a bit to the left but it looks to me the front sight is leaning to the left a little more. Like I said it could be possible that the sight wasnt welded on straight so that makes it hard to determine.
