New Product Alert: Ruger PC Carbine barrels

Whats the point if it makes it R. the whole benefit of increased portability is useless.

Some people like to have options. Options are not illegal.

Sorry officer, I missed your name and badge #? Or is it poly ... don't worry.. we don't do promo codes.

These should fit on the Magpul backpacker forend right?

Our much hinted at, short barrels for Ruger PC carbine takedowns are available to order now.

Expected to ship in 10-12 weeks. Each barrel is custom built, especially given the upcoming BS hanging over all of us.
The barrel price DOES include the takedown hardware but does not include a handguard/forend.

Aaaa

Can you buy a Magpul for-grip only?

Jury is out on that one right now, we're waiting for an answer. So the answer I've got now is... yes.... but it's a couple hundred bucks and comes with a spare back end.

OR, we've got a couple other options with the short midwest industries handguard for $225. Or our aluminum ones that are still under development.

Hey Shaun, quick question here. From what I gather from the thread the 7" barrel will actually not go past the front of a magpul handguard ? Only the 10.5" will ?

Am I making any sense...

On the handguard topic... for the 7", and the reason we chose 7" length... I present to you the Midwest Industries itsy bitsy handguard. Small numbers just arrived, well ahead of schedule for a change, and will be available shortly to order on our website.

And I didn't want to take shiny pictures of our prototype handguards we're working on, 1 for the longer barrel offering 10.5", and one for the short 7.5".

Just ordered the Midwest hand guard from you, couldn’t resist, gorgeous piece. Thanks.

Hoping to see a better chassis come to market that allows for a good spectrum of stock options. Combined with the barrel options offered here you are definitely on the road to improving the platform.

That is correct.

Does this work for the original mlok version as well as the backpacker?

The takedown portion of the receiver is the same, so yes, you can plug one of these barrels on to either.

Have you seen our chassis option? https://albertatacticalrifle.com/product/atrs-ruger-pc-carbine-chassis/

Yes would like to see a pic of the 7 inch in a Magpul forend

I'll see what I can do for this today.

Would it be possible to adapt this Ruger PC platform for a higher velocity round like 5.7x28?

Possibly, but it's not something we are looking at doing right this moment. Additional pressure means additional weight in the bolt because this is just blow back. So... I'm not so sure about 5.7x28.

Whats the estimated wait time from order placed to barrel in hand?

Our best estimate at this time is roughly 10 weeks. The biggest determining factor is how long we are waiting for barrel blanks.

Ok I have on order a 7 inch. I don’t like the look of that. Would it be possible to change my barel length to 10 inch? A 8 inch would be the best but I don’t think your offering that length
