New project - Can you guess?

Huh? It's an ar-180b. Basically an AR that would be non-restricted.

I sent an E mail to be a Beta Tester.

Me too.

Just so you guys who are not familiar with the 180 know, and judging by some of the responses there are a few, the AR180B is not a non restricted AR-15, Not really similar at all other than the caliber they shoot.
I have a late production (2007) and it's a fantastic rifle and is one that I will never sell but it is not an AR-15 and other than the trigger group doesn't share any parts. If you don't already own a 180 these lowers will do you no good as you can't just go out and buy the rest of the parts unless you buy a complete used rifle.
I'm hoping that once they finish the lowers and get them available for retail they will start working on uppers that can fit AR barrels or at least start making some parts kits for the uppers to start with.
No matter how this ends up or how far they go I'm glad they are doing this and appreciate the effort that they are putting into making this a reality.

I think they've given up on it. That would make sense, not many 180b going around in 2017.

Ah no. The prototype takes time guys, we aren't General Dynamics.
Thank you to all the beta testers. I believe all that applied will get one once we have them.

And any plans for uppers/full rifles for us who don't have a 180b and need the whole thing?
