Why are these so hard to find in Canada?
I’ve had a Trapper and some accessories on order for months with a well known seller and just so happened to call them yesterday to get something added to my order. Apparently they had four come in Friday and all of which were spoken for. The sales guy told me that they couldn’t seem to get in contact with one of the customers and said that if they didn’t get a call back in due time I would get the gun as there was no deposit on the firearm and I was next on the wait list. In any case, the customer did call back and claim the gun and I’m back in the waiting game. Pretty decent news though considering! Four guns is the most I’ve heard trickle into one place in some time so hopefully we’ll be seeing more soon!
Out of curiosity, would you mind sharing how much the store was asking for these Trapper 45-70 models?.......![]()
They’re going for $1899
The trappers are nice but I just seen the new 336 videos on youtube from shotshow, Ruger seems to be doing an outstanding job bringing Marlin back to life,...their is even mention of stainless, trapper and octagon barreled versions...excellent news. I hate waiting.
The price point was too good. I posted a picture of the SBL I managed to get my hands on. The last batch retailed for 1999+ tax. I had someone offer $3600 for rifle and buy it straight up.. At that rate, its hard to say no!
The Jurassic park movie product placement with Crispy Rat made these a weird must have for a lot of people who wouldn’t care otherwise.
Four grand to shoot some 45/70 rounds lmao,it makes a guy wonder sometimes if the sky is ty limit.Ive always been taught not to overspend and be as sensible as I can with my money,I've been offered crazy amounts of money for certain rifles myself, prices I would never in a million years pay even if I had millions.
This is one reason things are so costly today,as soon as one person spends rediclous
Money onsomething it sets anew standard on prices lol.
Anyone know what the MSRP is going to be up here for the SBL?
I got tired of waiting and picked up an SBL in Dec for $1700 US from Gunbroker but was sent the Trapper by mistake, and now I see the SBL's are going for north of $2000US, so it makes me think another increase is coming.
