Got my custom rifle in december. It took 1 year to get it but it is really nice.

It's the first Gaulin tactical with his new 3 lugs action to leave the shop !

Rifle is in 338 Lapua mag.
Stock is Macmillan A5
Barrel : Krieger heavy varmint 30'' with tactical style muzzle brake by Armtech
5 shots clip from Badger Ordnance

Wow, that's really nice. I've never heard of Armtech before. Any specs on the action, costs, etc.....

P.S. That's smokin' muzzle break.

Congrats,

-John

Looks like another nice action! It surprises me that despite mentioning armtech/gaulin in many posts that they have not received more awareness.

Nice piece of kit.
I have yet to see one of Francis's rifle that didn't shoot... and it looks like yours has some potential!
When you have a minute, I'd be really curious to see the 3 lugs bolt... Or better yet, I should use this excuse to stop and visit them
:)

Armtech / Gaulin

It must be 5000+$

I got a single shot TR 308 made by Gaulin SN018
4 lug action with RPA trigger. McMillan prone adj.stock
Krieger 30 inch palma bbl w/match chamber (13 inch twist)
with both front and rear RPA sights it was near 6000$
but it shoots very well.

It does "mickey mouse" 3 shot groups at 100 yds if you know what I mean.

I have 3500 rds thru it already and a spare chambered barrel is ready to go on it as soon as the other one starts showing wear.

I think more people should look into having stuff done here instead of going to the states. Gaulin did several smith jobs for me and I've always been satisfied. Match chamber on my two 308 Rem 700 barrels. Well worth the 200 bucks!

I got it in a year but now Francis told me his brother is back in the shop and started to build rifle again.
So his delay should be shorter. When he started to work on it everything was done within 3-4 weeks and it was the first of this model. Next action will probably be easier and quicker to build.

By the way if you want something lighter he can do his action in Titanium for a few bucks more.
