Because it is a very small and highly "tapered" round due to the large rim diameter versus the body diameter. They don't look any less gangly and awkward than .303 or Chauchat magazines.

I looked at some more pictures online last week and it looks like the magazine in the picture is a 25 rounder.

The thumbnail picture in the video above (post #37) shows the 10 round magazine.

I found this video of what I think is a Russian guy shooting it and I think he's using the 25 rounder. It's timestamped to a part where he's using it. Unless they have a larger than 25 round magazine, I think this is what it looks like.

Just got mine in and figured I should clear up the magazine questions. But the second picture you have is indeed the 10 round. First picture you have is not the 25 as that one is a longer banana looking one. I think the one in your first picture might be a 15 round one that I've read about.

and yet,you'll still be charged,cost you thousands in lawyer fees,possibly loose your guns for a while,all that for a 22 that has to be one of the most ####ty built out there,those 715T are the cheapest junk.

Lol flip up irons look so silly when there's nowhere forward of the receiver to mount the front site.

Thanks for the vid though. These look like a fun gun, definitely putting it on the Want List.

Lol the sights were useless! They were super cheap Amazon ones i grabbed just so i had something on it but they are definitely coming off and getting replaced with a RDS of some sorts.
 
The Government has nothing to gain by banning all guns in one swing if the axe.
It's a political game they can continue to milk and score points with a large segment of voters by banning things slowly over time.
Not even a cooey 39 will be safe from future banning
