New Ruger Offering - Super Redhawk in 10mm

I hardly see the point, but I give Ruger credit for not being afraid to think outside the box and cater to a niche market.

I'd much rather have a Redhawk in .45 ACP/.45 Colt if I wanted a large frame revolver that can take a pistol caliber.

Why would they not just build the gun on the Redhawk platform? I assume the Super was chosen to allow for mounting a scope on the gun for hunting. Maybe I just answered my own question.

Take Care

Bob

Maybe they are spreading things around? The Redhawk is now adding a .357Magnum version, eight round cylinder (so far only with a barrel too short to get into Canada.)
