Well to be fair, Glock borrowed many of its key features (such as the polymer frame, DAO trigger and polygonal barrel) form HK VP70, which predates Glock 17 by almost two decades.Wow, yet another attempt at copying the Glock. I thought the general consensus was that "polymer framed guns are weak and will never replace steel or alloy frames." Yet I see every manufacturer now offers a polymer pistol.. That sure is interesting.

That is true. However, Glock was out on a limb with polymer before polymer was cool. Unlike the latest newcomers to the polymer market. Kind of like AR's or 1911's. Everyone and their dog now makes one.

I wonder if part of the sales proceeds will be donated to Hillary Clinton's campaign?Ruger is what? 10 years behind the times? I am surprised it comes with a 17rd magazine, inst that against Ruger's policy?
Too bad it's only available in a minor caliber.....
A minor caliber that has probably killed more people then all handgun calibers combined. In any case just sit and wait, they will have larger calibers for the people with inferiority complexes.
I heard 9mm will bounce off of t-shirts?![]()
