New Ruger striker-fired plastic fantastic

^ 4.13" actually...

4.125"....pretty dumb on Rugers part; if they were going to make it longer than 4" why not make it 0.005" longer so they can sell it here?!

actually that should be legal if you measure it with the slide closed. which is the proper way to do it. How do I know? because my Cougar (the only .45 Cougar in Canada) made it into the country legally. and according to Beretta it's only a 4 inch barrel.

"Barrel Length
For firearms other than revolvers, the barrel length is the
distance from the muzzle of the barrel to and including the
chamber, but it does not include the length of any
attachments."

So, would the Ruger be restricted?

Damn, the search feature sucks ass. I looked for something like this before making my own, because the search didn't pick it up.

Insert unhappy face emotion with angry fist shaking here.

I wonder if part of the sales proceeds will be donated to Hillary Clinton's campaign?

Not a chance in hell. Bill Ruger was a strong Republican. One of his board members, General PX Kelly introduced George Bush at the Republican Convention prior to Bush's first term. PX was the former Commandant of the US Marine Corps and had it not been for his age, would have been the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
