Don't think this has been brought up here yet but Savage has released details on their new 2010 line up of rimfire rifles adding 10 new precision models. Boy do they look nice too in my opinion. They even added a new tacticool model. I really like the BRJ model. They even started to flute some of the barrels on their models.

Forgot to mention that they show 4 of the new models on their website h ttp://www.savagearms.com/

HOT DAMN!, The first ones nice! Love that spiral fluting.:dancingbanana:

#2 and #3 please.

I just hope that #2 has a tapered barrel, it would be the perfect beginner silhouette rifle if it'll meet class rules for hunter.

2 and 3 look pretty sweet. If they are your typical Savage, they will be excellent rifles.

I don't know how I feel about the twisted flutes. I like the straight ones though. Will be interesting to see one in person when they start shipping. Definitely looks like Savage has stepped up it's game in the firearms market though with the Accustock and now 10 new rimfire models. Too bad I just bought a mark II in June otherwise I'd buy one of these.

This one has a scope mounting rail on the side for the Homies:D

That's got to be the most useless thing I've ever seen. A 1-piece scope rail, I completely understand but for this? Savage must be going to release a "tacti-cool" accessories catalogue filled with Leaper products...

I'd bet it becomes their best selling piece. FS

Actually, me of all people (Lord of the Fudd's) thinks it's a good idea.

Now around here it would be a no no, but look at the night hunting pellet rifle that came out a few years ago. I thought it too was a good idea. A small light on one side and a laser on the other and it would be perfect for nighttime pests in the yard and barn.

I agree get it is 17 hmr and kill at night with lasers and flashlights to help.
