Obviously, this lab technician has an agenda. With the elimination of the gun registry, they don't want black guns like this to be unregistered. Worse, if you could use it like a non-restricted, at a low price, it would sell like hotcakes.

I wanted one. :(
 
You know what the kicker is? 14 FUVKING monnths WE had to wait.

I could built a fully fuctioning Ar-15 out of popsicle sticks in 14 months. And I was the kid who made the volcano every science fair.

Realistically I feel 1 week is enough for a Classification and a report. 14 months to find out its a restricted. ####ING JEEEBUSSSS
 
Rediculous. I cant beleive how blatently they bend, and cheat the rules to fit their purpose.
Please tell me there is going to be a fight about this total, blatent screwing.
Can Am. if you are going to take them to court on this I will donate.

I had already pre convinced the wife so I could get one, and that wasnt easy.
I do agree with this statement from earlier "The ultimate strategy here would be to take the RCMP employee to court to have their "expert" status questioned/discredited; "
based on what bs he is saying about it being a variant wouldnt it be easy to make him look like he is a bulls**tter and a liar? That guy can eat a bag of dicks.
Is there no way to get the gov. to see what kind of illigal manipulation is going on here over and over?
 
Variant= looks like kinda, if I squint real hard while looking through the rising steam of my Latte.

They should have made it look like a SCAR.. that would have really confounded them

Their reason amounts to "it shoots projectiles like the Ar-15, look like it, therefore it needs to be restricted."

I am mad. I've never felt this furious in months. And sad. Oh god, I feel sad. I'm sad at the fact that I won't be getting this, and I am sad at the fact that these bozos have the power to render this gun into a damn range toy.

This has to be the worst screw-up on their part. Really? Gas piston system? Like the Ar-15? Riiiiiight.
 
So, how did the Armscor M1600 not get restricted? Its supposed to look like an M16, therefore it must be a variant.

I almost feel kinda sorry for the folks at the RCMP firearms lab. I mean, the only thing they actually seem to be good at is preventing people like you and me from having cool toys. People whose only purpose is to ruin other people's fun tend to be deeply unhappy.
