Unfired hulls are difficult to find in Canada. Your best bet may be to order from Ballistic Products in the US through their Canadian Distributor: bilozir.net
They do have some unprimed hulls in 12ga but they wont/can't export (does ITAR apply to shotgun hulls? I've read mixed comments on that).
Does anyone have a source for new never fired hulls? All the ones I've found are in the states and are only primed hulls (can't ship primers to Canada). I'm looking for 12ga and 20ga hulls.
I've heard the same thing about primer sizes with regard to Cheddite primers. I bought a box by accident before I knew this but found out they work perfectly in any hulls. Cheddite primers fit in North American hulls same as North American primers. Even after using a Cheddite primer, firing the load, I can reload with CCI primers and they fit just as tight so it's not a case of the Cheddite primers being forced in and making the hole bigger.
Maybe Fiocchi are different, I don't know, but between people I know and myself we have gone through 3000+ Cheddite primers in NA hulls without issue. Still able to seat NA primers afterwards.
your local trap/skeet range should have some just got to sort by brand and type

There are two different Cheddite primers in 209 a black flash hole and a red. One is larger than a win 209 and once used in a hull the rest of NA primers will be lose and fall out. The other is the later design and better and pending the production run most are fine but you may get a couple give issues but nothing like the initial ones sold in canada .
the primer thing is a myth only thing different on the cheddite primers is the way they are tapered most are steped these ones are not measuring them you will see only slight difference
BPI has a tool for resizing primer pockets its something every shotshell loader should have it works well
Weird, I buy brass shells from buffalo arms all the time, the last batch was 4 months ago iirc, I had no issues.
