New shotguns, MAG-FED and SHORTIES - NEW PICS

I like the SKS bayonet because you can snap it open.

This is why we don't let you have button-fly pants.

well - safe bet that SOMEONE makes one that fits shotties, but how do you use it when it's folded? Don't you stab yourself on the forward stroke?

Foxer, the bayonet is for repelling boarders. Arrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

That 870 bayonet is cool. I can't see how that could work on 12.5, but I'd get one for my second shotty. Does it use standard M7 bayonet?

yes it uses a standard m16/c7 bayonett m7 or m9
just when you were thinking shotguns scared the **** out of badguys
ya go and put a bayonett on one:pirate:

Borrowed this pic from EE. See, somebody knows how to take a nice pic of 12.5" shotgun.

Is the green surface just paint or what?

Any ideas on how to mount a light on the 12.5"? I'd like to avoid the SF fore end.
I read a very interesting theory on gun mounted flashlights. If it is your only flashlight, when you identify your daughter sneaking in late at night, you are doing it at the end of a loaded gun. If it was a bad guy , great but if it was a family member, they might not be very happy and either would you.

I'd be interested in it for more like making sure the bear in camp at night is well illuminated after i've figured out it's not just gatehouse up taking a leak :D

Good point about not relying on it as your only illumination tho.

What about those side-saddle shell holder flashlights that just go in one of the shell holders on your shotgun? At least then you can take it out or the like, till you know what you're dealing with.

Funny, it's a great idea and yet I haven't seen one.

Tacstar sells 'em.

Shells go in upside down so they're still easy to reach - flashlight goes in on top. It's just a holder, so it'll work with lots of different flashlights.

Badboybeason I had a brainstorm (or fart, not sure). Would it be possible to make a single point sling attachement that had a small rail that came off the single point plate on the left side of the gun? This way a person could mount a flashlight to a solid mount with a 12.5 or 8.5. Wouldn't be able to use a side saddle but I hate them anyway:D....

Good point. I'd say a headlamp would be best, but I've also heard that bad guys shoot at the light, which isn't good if it's on my head...
