Just a thought. I assume that with the mag removed, a combat drop is going straight to the floor unless you rotate the gun over and muzzle down, tossing the round into the chamber.

No. Gun horizontal, with ejection port at 2 O' Clock, drops it to the left side of the receiver, and the forward stoke will load the round into the chamber.
That pic would be a bit too artistic, this late in my evening....

That's what I'm thinking about !!!

Tweek the mag to allow 3 gun guys to rock out within the rules, and maximize the mag allowance.
 
Just got my griz 15" mag today, hopefully try it out this weekend.
It appears to be a great value, IMO fit, finish and function are excellent for the price point.
What I like;(in no particular order)
-mag fed
-short oal
-front sight style
-magazine's are well built
-mag swap's seem to be easy and quick.

What I don't like;
- rear sight is cheezy, I like the ghost ring much more.
-screws that hold on the plastic heat sheild kinda stand out and not in a good way
-smells like everything that comes from China with rubber in it.lol

Future upgrades I hope someone makes;
-an upper rail with a dot and a flip up rear ghost ring sight
-Fibre optic front sight
-Knox stock
-a mag release lever that's shaped better and is easier in the thumb.
-a belt with some form of mag pouches or magnets.
-more mags....

Overall at this point I'd rate it very highly

Pretty sure you don't have to wait for someone to make those things, I think they are all inproduction already for regular 870's. except the mag release.
 
Just received my 12.5 Ghost Ring today.

Fit & finish is excellent.

I am very pleased with the Grizzly Ghost Rings.
Seem to be as tough as nails.

Machining and bluing are also excellent.

You can say that again, smells like the Dollar Store!!!!!!!! :D

Hell, Ah Double Hell, I think I may just order another.

When you really think about it, they are one incredible deal.
