I got my grips from Calgary shooting center, you have to file the inside edge of the grips a bit to fit the x5 frame. Just a few mm on the lower edge, it fits my hands much better, I ended up buying the grips before the pistol lol
thanks. I'm contemplating sending them mine for the SRT. may they could do the grips too.
i gotta tell you, that trigger feels like it has SRT already. I have a bunch of sigs and I don't notice a huge diff.
Hope you enjoy shooting it. They are an awesome gun. Where did you get the holster? I have a competition and can't seem to find one that works. Any insight you give me would be greatly appreciated.

thanks. that is helpful as I have never felt the SRT and it would not be an inexpensive proposition.
OP, would be curious to know more about what part of the grip needed to be filed down. Was it pretty straight forward? did you need a dremel or something?
I know Hogue had to modify my g10 grips for the allround but don't really know how and have never handled a regular p226 to compare.
thanks
Very straight forward, I used just a regular file, a Dremel would have taken seconds, it's just the lower lip that needs filing down since the grip is made for a regular p226, if you would like pictures let me know and I can take them off and take a picture of the inside.
