Yaah that one I was looking and want same like this is that your gun?? I contacted a dealer who will import one from USA for me.

the gun on youtube is not mine, look at the pictures on my sks and compare to the one on youtube. where are you located, I am in Vancouver.

The guy who built the one on youtube sold it on gp but the reason was that he bought a type 81 underfolder. I am pretty sure he has second thoughts about that now.

Do you know any gunsmith who can do that?? If I have the parts stock and grip and metal parts as well.
My friend the retired gunsmith is out of the country until early July, I will ask him if he wants to make an under folder stock for you.
It is all custom hand built and will be expensive to do.

BTW any idea how to eliminate completely the smell of cosmoline. In my stock around 10% it’s still there.
you need to remove the cosmoline from the object, which is best done with a solvent like mineral spirits. Then, air out the object to allow the solvent and lingering cosmoline vapors to dissipate.

Collector - I got an FT last summer and did the cleaning outside. I had a plastic pan I use for oil changes and put all small parts in that with about a ltr of Varsol and used a stiff brush. The stock I stood on end and brushed it well inside and out also. Then I used 99% alcohol to 'rinse' everything off. And left it all out in the Sun to 'air-dry'. Tiny places like under the rear sight and the cleaning kit and inside the action need 'special attention'. I get the alcohol at Costco, about $15 for a 4-ltr package. I get lots cause I use it for cleaning everything firearm related; like rinsing the bore to remove traces of solvents b4 oiling; rinsing action parts after cleaning, too. Then I use Permatex 'Synthetic Grease' - PTFE (Cantire ca $15 / tube) lightly on friction points Only.
