i recently cracked my chinese putting the damn mag back in. this. i glued it. but if it keeps cracking its headed right for the trigger area.. would still function but i know its there... this is an option for me

how is that red dot held in place? is that a dust cover rail? or something that will actually work?

Its a NC star tri rail whole new receiver cover. I used lock tite to hold rail screws into receiver cover. The new cover is oversized so you slowly file it to fit your gun. It took me 25 minutes but i made it fit tight. It also has 4 screws to tighten just below the reciver cover to make sure it dosent move. I hope to test it in the morning tommorow or Sunday but i don't think its moving.

Took it out to shoot in the range today. I was pleasently surprised at accuaracy, i was using a predator bench rest but because of clip being so long some slight movement was involved, however it shot a 2 inch 5 shot group at 150 yards with the red dot. Shot very flat from 50-150 but from charts i read it starts to drop fast over 200 yards. I definitly wouldn't be scared to take a 200 yard shot with it though, however well see how far it is out after i reinstalled receiver cover after cleaning.
