***New to Canada*** BERSA THUNDER 9 PRO SEMI-AUTO 9mm

Hi,

I had a similar one: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-...AAAACBc/gA-8H7gfKQw/w679-h509-no/dscn1267.jpg

I sold it on this forum. I can tell you that it is a very good pistol.

I suspect that I am the guy that bought it from you. (70#?)
Actually an excellent pistol.
I own two Bersa Thunder 9s.

A machined metal pistol built in the Americas to western standards and at a very good price for the work.

Berretta 92 and Taurus PT92 mags will fit, but you have to cut the locking hole into the mag body with some side wheels.
With mags at $39, might as well buy the mags too.

What is the diference between a Thunder 9 Pro and a Thunder 9?
The rail???

Biggest difference is the rail, but changes were made to the controls and the slide as well

Nice gun for sure, but a bit of a relic technologically. Plus price point at or above what a good number of more modern designs go for. I'm pretty sure Bersa has a striker fired pistol now.

yes they do but it is a single stack/concealed carry type. 8 rounds. Hickok45 did a review on it.

Cheers

I have a Bersa Thunder .380. It is double action and has a fixed barrel, looks like a PPK. It's a nice change of pace, but my Glock 42 is just slightly more accurate and is my CCW. For metal framed guns it is an excellent value.

Interesting. Was looking closely at a Grand Power X-Trim. Might have to reconsider.

Is there holsters available for this? What the trigger weight?

Hi,

Yes, it might be. Since then, I tried a Ruger SR9, a CZ 75B and a Viking.....I sold the Ruger and the CZ and I still have the Viking. If I had to depend on a pistol to secure my life, I think that I will keep the Viking: I never had an ammo failure with that pistol...it is some kind of a tank....the magazine lips are wide and the barel has some kind of two ramps so the cartridge dont have to cross each other in order to load...

I also put the Viking on sale....I want to try another model...

Houston, Vega and Fobus make holsters.

Don't have a trigger pull gauge handy, but SA is estimated to be around 4lbs, DA around 10/11 lbs

We are happy to introduce for the first time in Canada, the Bersa Thunder 9 Pro, exclusively from Tactical Imports.
