***New to Canada*** BERSA THUNDER 9 PRO SEMI-AUTO 9mm

yes they do but it is a single stack/concealed carry type. 8 rounds. Hickok45 did a review on it.

Cheers

I looked for the Hickok45 review. He did one on the .380 Concealed Carry. Is that the one you're talking about? Or did he do one on this here 'Thunder 9 Pro'? If so, I couldn't seem to find it. Anyway, I'm sure they're similar enough. He spoke highly of the .380 CC, so that's a good thing...

The grip panels remind me of a modern hi-power. The slide is definitely Sig-like.
The P226 was our favourite pistol design, however after handling/shooting the Thunder 9 Pro we have a new favourite. The ergonomics are much better, with a high thumb grip you don't accidentally hit the slide release on the last round. The controls are larger and easier to use as well (+ ambidextrous for lefties). Fit and finish is at the same level, which is very surprising for its considering the price. Most low-priced pistols are kind of rough round the edges; you typically have to spend 1k+ to get this level of quality.

Nice gun for sure, but a bit of a relic technologically. Plus price point at or above what a good number of more modern designs go for. I'm pretty sure Bersa has a striker fired pistol now.
Some would argue that the more modern designs are a step backwards in many areas. The classic designs are still very popular for a good number of reasons.

Order in for one Bersa Thunder 9 Pro and extra mag... The fact that what you sell some awsome stuff... Hendzolt / Shield Mini and the fact that this pistol is one of the ###iest... Thanks for the opportunity... JP.

Thanks for your repeat business!

One or two mags? How does it compare to a G17 size-wise?

Comes with x1 spare mag from factory. Extra mags are just $39

Sizes are pretty close:
Length: G17 ~ 206mm, T9P ~ 192mm
Width G17 ~ 30mm, T9P ~ 37mm
Height: G17 ~ 138mm, T9P ~139mm

So very much leaning toward one of these.

Is it bad form to ask for contributions toward the Dr. Islay 'Whisky, Women, & Weapons' fund?

We're probably biased, but for a new shooter we'd bet you'd find the Bersa much easier to shoot and more accurate than the other two

I really liked the sig 226 but the bersa looks just as good and seems to have good reviews and I love the price
Is the finish and durability really as good as I hear ?
