Well I think I'm a little early for this discussion anyway. Still paying off a vz58 so I probably won't get one till after Christmas anyhow. So I may as well come back later.

Forget the Grizzly... I'd try this SAP6 before that.
I'm holding off mag-fed shotguns for a bit, but this one definitely looks like the best of the lot at the moment - I've watched a few reviews and it was nice to see the shooter not struggling to get the first few shells chambered.

I've been researching a little and becoming more and more convinced about the quality.
True, as far as I've shot it.
Depending on how you "run your gun", I'd wait for the Caliber written, and CA video, reviews before goin' for it. All depends on how you want to run this platform.
I'll be getting one, in spite of the current 'low cap' mags, but you need to know what you're letting yourself in for, in getting it to perform to your expectations.
It needs work (which I'll expend..), if you want it to run hard, and you need to work within the limitations of the current build (red Loctite and possibly 'silver solder', are your friend...).
We think that event is highly unlikely, given the heavy stippled/indented pump handle combined with the spring that reduces the forward pressure required. That being said, the new pump with lower rail is in the works as an optional accessory (pic rail also doubles as handstop) as well as the 14" bbl, either of which will resolve such concerns.

A shotgun isn't truly a shotgun if it can't run hard and take a beating. I like to masturbate my shotguns.

Running the safety, in movement drills, SUCKS, until it's had the snot broken out of it.
DON'T run a front sling mount- at least with a sling you want to keep...
Red Locktite/silversolder the 'front site', other rail pins.
Work the magwwell, before you really run the gun.
Face slap sucks, even w/ birdshot- analyse how you 'run the gun fast', and modify your drills/SoP, to suit. Still working on "why this is so"; an unusual phenomena I haven't encountered before
DO NOT try to run the gun fast, pump wise, by preloading the forend- this is all sorts of bad.
Double feeds are EASY, as the mags are sized for 3", so WATCH how you charge the mags- DO NOT skip on the 'tap back', and ensure you run the action ALL THE WAY to the rear, every stroke. DO NOT conventionly press check, until skilled in running the platform- you WILL induce a double feed.
Unless you're XXL, 'slipping' into the muzzle cone is not a factor- just watch your 'consistent platform' fore grip, and that support side thumb, if you're one who runs your platforms consistently, across the types.
Drills are close to AR platform- mags drop free, stuff'n'lock, not rock'n'lock; run the fore end, good to go.
Sucks it doesn't stay open, on the last round; there is no 'buffer thump', to let you know you're locked back/empty, so the first you know you've got a dead gun is a 'click'....O F###...
The fact your 'fastest reload' is a 'transition', at 25m and under (the space you're likely to be using this platform..), says a bit, about your level of training.
Sight discussion is separate, but the Shield CQS, w/ a 65moa/1moa is IDEAL, for shotguns; I'll be mounting this on my 'run regular' platforms, so I can cascade a number of my Eotech's to carbine platforms....
Same Eotech reticle goodness, for a lot less weight on your aftermarket/OEM rails/sidesaddles/mounting points..
Patterning holds well, with 9 pellet bulk buck holding to a 16" reduced bottle silhouette, at 15m; slugs hold virtually no PoI drop/gain, w/i 50 m ( hand print spread; THIS was surprising..)
Again, YMMV- cool platform, with potential.
Worth procuring, based on 'future kit' availability.

Yep, shotgun is still center fire. Even though it doesn't even have nearly the range that rimfire does.

I've seen magazine designations go both ways. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse.
I personally don't think it's worth the risk, when a decision could go either way.
I also think it's better to focus on perfecting the pump-action platform, rather than getting side-tracked and trying to introduce a mag-fed semi-auto.
