***New to Canada*** SAP6 MAG-FED FLAT-TOP 11.4" 12GA Shotgun **NON-RESTRICTED**

It is obviously restricted with just the pistol grip and non restricted with the buttstock in tact. No different than an 870 or any other shotgun.

No overall length exemptions have ever been given to any shotgun. To my knowledge, the mare's leg rifles are the only centerfire long guns in Canada to ever receive this type of exemption.

This gun was never advertised as a non restricted pistol grip. There were never any pistol grip pics posted and TI never mentioned anything about this gun being non restricted without the stock attached. If this was the case, TI would have obviously marketed it as such. It would have been a huge selling feature. Heck, nobody even knew the buttstock was removable till they had the gun in their possession.

Shhhh! Not so loud.

No ETA. We're hoping for the next month or so, but then again the past shipment we received was supposed to arrive in January

Price should be around 199 for the railed barrel and 59 for the spare mag

I'm OK w/ the wait and the $$'s quoted- the wait is just life, for new gun product into Canada.
Not hot for the spare barrels, but DEFINITELY waiting on the "future" mag capacity, before I'm "in".

Me too.... i have a few friends on the fence as well but would jump on it with availability of bigger mags

The larger capacity Mags would definitely make me put my name in for a couple of these, they look like allot of fun. While were waiting it gives them a chance to see how they hold up and fix any problems that may arise.

A small rail on top of the reciever or a two piece full length rail would be a massive improvement. :)

How so?

Weight savings? Looks? The monolithic rail is a benefit in our minds, the weight difference is minimal and allows for a huge variety of picatinny accessories to be used that would be difficult to incorporate in older designs.

It's a shotgun. I don't need or want all that real estate for accessories, but more importantly, it requires tools to remove the bbl, and adds weight.
Just a short length of rail on the receiver would be cool.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not so upset about it that I would have said anything about it otherwise, but since you're doing a run of different barrels, I figured it would be nice to have the option. Just something to consider. I like the gun though. :)

No 'stock adapters' is a bit of a hold back, though, as w/o being able to mod the buttstock (think Endine..) or pistol grip, is pretty much a show stopper, for me.

If BBB steps up in the 'mod' department, I'm in big time, provided reliability (especially as it relates to mags..) proves out, over the next bit...

We're hoping for mods as well :)

We're thinking bolt hold open mods, stock adapters and maybe a railed fore-end as well.

That's good news!
Any word yet on the "next size optional mags"? With the statement above (all good to hear, and kit I'd be looking for), you seem to be committed to supporting the platform, so I'm sold on that aspect. Just the optional mag size question remains.

We were told they'd be shipping at the end of the month, but most likely sometime in Nov-Dec
