If it gets delayed again i'll seriously consider a refund for my preorder. But i'm still excited :p

one more delay and im out as well....ill buy one later on even if there is a price increase.....got lots of house repairs going on currently..this pre order cash could come in handy atm

So if you received the rifle already would you be selling it now to pay for house repairs? If not, then I don't see the difference...

The difference is he has cash sitting doing nothing and has nothing for it
he owns a rifle that hasn't been produced yet...that's what the preorder is for, guaranteed to get one in the first batch that lands...the money isn't for nothing...if spending $1200 bucks on a rifle gives you financial grief 8 months later, whether it's in your hands or not, or simply that you may receive it in 10 months instead of 6, annoys you enough to cancel your pre-order, then why pre-order in the first place? I've said it before, publicly announcing that you're going to cancel your order for such and such a reason does nothing to change the situation, and is not relevant to probably most of the people who follow this thread...

I used my refund to buy my Aimpoint T2 for my APC556.... lol....

Ill get the Type 81 SKS when it actually gets here.

well, that's understandable, if you're putting an aimpoint T2, on an APC556, you're either foolish, or you can afford it, either way that's a lot different than home repairs, so I fail to see your point in quoting me...

I just think everyone should just sit back, relax, and ride it out...it'll come or it won't...I will cancel my preorder if one of three things happens, it becomes prohib before entry, another importer/retailer lands a shipment of the same rifle first, or offers the same rifle at a significant discount. time wise, I preordered because I want one, and i'm guaranteeing that I get one. Anyone who cancels their preorder in my eyes must not be overly interested in owning one long-term, can't afford it anymore, or extremely impatient...today's "think of something cool, buy it on amazon right then, and have it in your hands tomorrow" society doesn't help in that department.

Why would that be foolish ? A Rifle of that caliber certainly won't be getting a budget RDS.

Im super happy about the SKS81, And will be getting one as soon as it arrives :) and I guarantee EE will be flooded the week after with 81's like every other rifle thats new on the market.

Yes Im extremely impatient, especially when I pay for something in full. Funny thing is I was able to order a APC556 with a 200$ down payment :) on a rifle that 3x the cost of this one.

Difference is wolverine has the capital to back their product while TI doesn't.

Just because TI is a smaller operation without the means to back theirs doesn't mean I wouldn't help out to get a cool rifle here into canada. Full payment or not.

It's not foolish if you can afford it ;) it's a nice combo, don't get me wrong...
