Its never going to come
What do you guys that didn't order one want? A pat on the head for being so smart? TI to admit it's a big conspiracy and you figured it out? Sheesh! You should get together and start a support group. "Hi, my name is d***head and I didn't order a T-81."
Theyll never come
Agreed, cancelled my 2 rifle order, one fixed and one folding stock with 10 mag. Don't want to wait anymore...
Yeah like I said, I almost finish my financing but get nothing and paid interest/admin fee for nothing. This is the 1st time I deal with you. Great job TI
I had already cancelled my order, since there is no schedule for production. Looks like we will need to wait a long time to see them in Canada.
I pulled my pre-order. There is still no credible proof that EMEI is actually working on the rifles, or that they're even in the queue.
I think if there's no news by January I'm going to cancel my preorder. Who knows what the quality will be like and when they'll come in.
Its never going to come
People, people, stop this pre-order business...product on shelf means buy, product not on shelf means your an investor so product can be on shelf for buyers. Buyers buy whats on the shelf! Period!
The more I read, the more I want to cancel my preorder.
I heard totally different story, there is nothing wrong for Chinese arsenal, they didn't delay T81 production. If Ti had submitted this order earlier you would have had it on your hand right now.
Did you read our emails from Uzkon we posted? They told us they were looking for a Canadian UNG-12 importer and gave us pricing. We told them we'd be placing an order to take advantage of their limited time special pricing and would be proceeding with importing samples for evaluation/inspection. They never told us they were working with anyone and lead us to believe quite the opposite. We didn't claim exclusivity, but that they were only available from us (which was true at the time), which was quickly updated in any case.I browsed their post history, it seems to stem from an incomplete understanding of this post from Wolverine Supplies. This has made some people skeptical of TI due to higher pricing and accepting pre-orders earlier than people are comfortable with. Some are cancelling their preorders with TI due to a perceived notion of dishonesty due to them advertising that they're taking pre-orders (at a different price than Wolverine) for a firearm without an FRT and with a potentially false claim of exclusivity. TI no longer makes this claim.
One interpretation from another member of CGN is that TI is letting Wolverine import a single firearm for classification at cost while TI is taking preorders at a higher price without any cost to them.
Here's a caption from the initial post:
I don't know how that relates to the T81 other than TI is handling importation of T81 and accepting preorders. Type 81 is from a different country and factory than Turkish made arms. Although TI is claiming exclusivity and it would benefit them to make such claims as to dissuade others from looking elsewhere, if TI is making these claims based on an agreement with the exporter, it's possible that the exporter is making an agreement they didn't intend to keep. NONE of this relates to the T81.
If you want a better idea what all this means, read the thread yourself and come to your own conclusions. With that being said, my preorder remains in place. The nature of preorders is that they're inherently risky. It should go without saying that you shouldn't bet money you don't have. Otherwise, I look forward to this rifle with the understanding that it may never reach me because of TI, Jianshe, delays, RCMP, Canada Post or whatever obstacle that might come its way. I also understand there's an inherent impatience tax, I'm willing to pay a premium for first dibs.
Nobody is losing anything. Full refunds can be issued at any time with no questions asked. Are you prepared to lose all money invested at this point?
Or the FAMAE SG542 that was also supposed to be exclusive to TI. Then CSC got it first and TI many months later. Meanwhile making interest on all your money. TI can't even get parts or mags to support product they've sold.
How is this starting to look like the T97 (I'm not familiar with that particular situation)? From various posts, I gathered TI didnt receive the shipment as quickly as Wolverine. I'm not aware of every aspect concerning the shipment, could it be Wolverine had a larger PO and was given priority by an exporter with no intentions of upholding their exclusivity agreement? Although TI advertised exclusivity, were they dealing with the same exporter (Polytech) for the T97? Besides, the post from Wolverine was concerning the UNG-12 and directed towards someone else other than TI. The licenses issues referenced were not that of TI.
Did you read our emails from Uzkon we posted?
We never dealt with the T97's.
It's funny cuz I have been waiting for this since TI posted them on their website back in 2011/12!?!?!?
What the fvck is a few more months to me
